Pages per minute or Ppm: Speed ranges from 2-6 Ppm. When comparing, buy the fastest speed possible.
Monochrome or Color: Most inkjet printers can print in color. Others can be upgraded to color with an upgrade kit.
Fonts: Some inkjet printers come with built-in fonts. This speeds up printing and allows your printer to handle more fonts per page.
RAM: Some inkjet printers come with built-in RAM. This speeds up the printing. The more the merrier.
Sheet feeder: Make sure the feeder will handle envelopes. Most will, but a few will not.
